Happenings at Scrap N Create

We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the autumn weather. With Halloween just around the corner and Thanksgiving and Christmas following close behind, we are entering a busy time of the year. Many of you will be getting together with friends and family to celebrate the many upcoming holidays and occasions. Tribute to Ginger Ropp - My Sisters Scrapper

As many of you know, Ginger Ropp, one of the most fabulous and clever designers in the paper crafting industry passed away in late September of 2021. When we first started our Scrap N Create business, we hoped to have both an online shop and host paper crafting retreats. We knew right away that having Ginger at our retreats would be a big draw. With a fair amount of trepidation, we approached Ginger at Creativation, a crafting industry trade show. Without even thinking twice, Ginger told us she would "love" to be a part of our retreat. Many of the people, at our first retreats, signed up just so they could meet Ginger, the superstar. There are not enough words to describe her. Ginger was a fantastic, amazing, creative designer, and an inspiration to all. She was also generous, kind, bubbly and a joy to be with. She lit up any room she entered. We think about her often, since she holds a special place in our hearts.

Ginger created so many projects over the years. One of our favorites was her Steampunk Spells Pop Up Folio, which as a Halloween collection, is appropriate for October.

We hope to have the Prima - Candy Cane - Christmas Morning Flowers back in stock by October 24 since Daphne is planning on using them on the cover of her current mini album.

Overstock and Closeouts

As we approach the end of the year, we have realized we need to reduce our inventory to make room for the new 2023 collections. We have added a number of overstock and closeout items to our RETIRED/CLEARANCE/OVERSTOCK filter, in our online store. We may add additional items at the beginning of 2023 if we feel we need to free up more space for new products. We hope you will check the marked down items out.

Blue Fern Preorders

Blue Fern has just come out with their Christmas collection, Mistletoe & Holly. If you liked the Blue Fern - Yuletide collection, it's a sure thing that you will love this new Christmas collection, which includes 10 - 12x12 double-sided design papers, a 20 sheet 8x8 pack with 2 sheets of each double-sided design, two different packs of decorative ephemera elements and a pack of bits and bobs journaling cards. All five of the items mentioned are sold separately. We will begin taking PREORDERS on Saturday, October 15. We expect to be able to ship the new collection items in the second week of November.

Daphne's Latest Project
 

Daphne has just completed her latest project, an 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 mini album featuring the Graphic 45 - Let's Get Cozy collection. Let's Get Cozy, with its Nordic prints, brings to our minds images of crafting while sipping on a warm beverage and enjoying some of the wonderful holiday goodies we so love. Final Reminder - Time to stock up for the Winter on Art Glitter Glue

With winter right around the corner it is time to stock up on Art Glitter Glue. Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive is a water-based adhesive that cannot be shipped to areas experiencing temperature under 40° F. We will stop shipping the glue around the end of October and we will resume shipping the glue around the beginning of May, provided the temperatures allow.
